Munich Travel Guide and Offline City Map App Reviews

It did work in Munich. I downloaded 7 or 8 apps but only this one has worked: no login or registration! Great app!!! My favorite feature: shopping and beer loc. thank you! Very helpful app.

Great app! I bought it back a couple of years ago when it costed a dollar or two and it was worth it. It would be nice to include the official Munich U-Bahn and S-Bahn map, makes it a lot easier to understand how to get around.

A very good efficient app for touring on your own and with friends. So clear and simple with lots of information

I really like the app. All of the points of interest are great and places and a great deal of time was spent putting the app together. All of the upgrades are adding great information.

I have used this app on several trips to Munich and found it very useful. The offline map is great, as are the offline descriptions. The latest update(s?) has really made it not-so-great. I can no longer find the descriptions, cant seem to find nearby sites, cant sort by dining, landmarks, etc, and the map centering seems arbitrary when I put it in compass-oriented mode. The offline map still works good. Please put it back to the way it was. Btw- my experience is with the iPhone app. Havent used the ipad version much, though at a glance it looks the same.

Invaluable offline gps map, great info on the places youre visiting. Would recommend. Possible improvements, a discovery mode where the app will buzz and notify you when you pass places of interest and a route planning option where you can see if youve wondered off your planned route. Thanks for making a great trip to Munich.

This is a great app that is worthwhile for the map alone. Its very detailed and has plenty of useful landmarks to orient yourself, all offline. It has saved my data charges!!!

I downloaded the Ulmon guide for four cities in preparation for a recent trip to Europe: Munich Prague Vienna and Amsterdam. You can drop pins, actually stars on places that youre interested in visiting including sites restaurants hotels etc. The off-line maps are fantastic and the articles helpful. I tend to keep my phone on airplane mode when I am out of the United States this app was fantastic because I was able to use the map even when I wasnt in Wi-Fi. Download the guides before you go on your trip if possible this way you can read and save articles but if you dont download it until youre there thats fine too.

Instead of using a printed map, this is very useful with offline search and find capabilities. Compass feature is awesome.
